# Redline > Redline by Simple Local Web is a website feedback tool. Clients open their website in Redline, mark what they want changed right on the page, and every mark lands on Simple Local Web's to-do list, where it gets checked off as the work is done. Redline runs in the browser at https://redline.simplelocalweb.com. There is nothing to install. It is made by Simple Local Web (https://simplelocalweb.com), a small web shop for local businesses. Contact: hello@simplelocalweb.com. Redline is built on the open-source MarkLayer project (https://github.com/thevrus/MarkLayer), licensed Apache-2.0. ## What a client can do - Circle, draw an arrow at, or highlight anything on their live website - Pin a note to a spot on the page, and reply to notes - Mark up a PDF or an image (upload or link, up to 25MB) - Send the same link to someone else so they can add marks too, live - Watch each mark change status as Simple Local Web works through the list ## Data and retention Hosted on Cloudflare. Marks, comments and uploaded files are deleted 90 days after the page was last opened; opening or commenting resets that clock. No analytics run on Redline.
